Got unstuck, but haven't had a chance to clean up the second half of this scene, so sorry for the mess. Also, not sure if this ending is going to stay the same... 

Also also, not sure if I'm ending the chapter here, or continuing from a different point of view. We'll find out!

I would like to see Rei just show Cash and Logan what his spec is , you have to trust the people your going into battle with even if its not actual battle with real weapons. There is less likely for something to go wrong if you trust the people that are one your team to do their job, and not second guess everything.

So fun. Yah, I can see why you might want to redo the end. It seems like no-nonsense Grant would just respond, something to the effect of “Because your growth stat is S ranked.” It’s too logical of a conclusion to keep up the spy games.

Logan and Cashe are great examples of how a writer can take 2d characters and flesh them out. It really makes the world so much more vibrant and relatable.

Yeah but it’s also never happened ever As only afew times and not recorded publicly so it’s just not quite believable that he could have S Growth but I get where your coming from… also Logan only just came to the full realisation that is rai as he was dismissing him in his mind as just another cadet that’s worked very hard

Now I really want to read at least a glimpse of that fateful night when Viv was punching Logan after Rei was jumped. That was a pivotal moment and we never actually seen it firsthand.

Even if it has never happened before, there is a real issue that gives it away. Rei's CAD rank is slightly higher than Logan's but all his Stats except speed lag Logans, some of them significantly. Grant would know this - all CAD users would know this, because they can choose what level stat (eg speed) to engage, so they have a decent idea of each others stats once they see them used. This means the difference between Rei's CAD stats and Rei's CAD rank is being made up in just onne place - Rei's Growth Stats.

Just want to say wow i thought it was good but damn is it getting even better. On a personal note if it was me all fudged up over someone else almost killing me I would of gone along the lines of. They tested to see if I was willing to take out a friend and pushed me to a could of been near death experience. Sir would you ask central if they want a hostile and possibly towards them murderous user with unlimited potential? I would like to see in future Ray maybe giving central a big fuck you and state what they have done to the public and his growth spec once he is powerful enough to say come try to silence me I dare you.
