Are the wensea girls mentioned in the books? I cannot remember. So they are the only women in the kingdom wearing makeup? Interesting. But who are they? Seductresses? Whatever it seems acceptable for a princess to adopt the wensea girls makeup. It should imply that these girls are not outcasts.

I just love Nemeria's plan: 'let her think she's won'. I like this plan because it will push Serenina further in the way of acceptance. 🙂 Look at yourself, Serenina. Look at Devin. Then have a thought for all the girls that would love to be in your shoes, and enjoy what the life brings to you...

Or is it possible that Wensea girls are just common prostitutes? 🤔

The Wensea girls are not in the books. I should have made it clearer. The Wensea Girls are the ladies of House Wensea, the royalty of that house. They are the first to adopt makeup, and it is seen as a sign of feminine refinement as they pride themselves on being the most feminine women.. So, it is fine, though a little fashion forward for Serren to be a Wensea Girl, while it also projects to the world that he wishes to be seen as feminine. Also, Devin is a Wensea man (hint hint)

Perhapa in faking it, he will become it? I still have some work to do on Serren's relationship choices. Asryn will offer himself as an alternative to Devin, so Serren will start to compare their reactions to when he was being held hostage.

Ah oh ah, so Devin is from the Wensea house and he is accustomed to see his sisters, mother, and aunts using make up. Seeing Serenina wearing the typical adornment of the women of his family will probably trigger something deep in Devin. So I understand even better Seren daydreaming about Devin seeing her with makeup.
