I originally intended this chapter to come in at a nice, tidy 15 or so pages. It featured only the scenes of Buck waking up, panicking with feelings of abandonment. The more I looked at it, the more I just felt it needed some back story, additional comments from the agents... and so, here we are! I hope to see some comments. I am totally in love with Buck and his transition.

Pushing a character to feminity by manipulating 'live' his brain chemistry, and therefore his desires, this is what I see as inovative. Actually, you already used this trick once in a super hero story whose title I can't not remember, but it's still fresh and full of possibilities. Not only it creates good stories, but it's also 'realistic' SF (from the point of view of a 2022 reader).

I can’t remember, either. Hmmm . I very much like the idea of using body chemistry to alter someone’s identity. It’s fun to play with. I also enjoy doing the research into how the brain experiences pleasure…etc…

The story I have mentioned is 'Grimlord' 'live brain chemistry' happens when he is rescued by Apex. It's a great moment, particularly because he was so reluctant to go to the feminine side before.
