I started with red background, light from below to get me in the right mood for drawing this one. I followed a reference for the basic pose
I started to focus on the face more closely until I could start feeling good about how the drawing is going! That gave me energy to keep on.
With the wings up, I decided to bring the arms down again. As I was drawing her waving, I realised she should be rocking out instead!
I spent more time on the face and getting the details right. At this point I really felt like I had something special.
I worked out Lusty's demon outfit here. I love harnesses, I love pentagram harnesses, so hell yeah let's go! I love a black bikini top too.
I render out the wings, keeping in mind that it's mainly lit from below.
And there's our basic outfit for this one! Just need to add details and polish.
Using ruler guides and reference, I draw out a magical circle. The runes are corrupted english letters. They say "Lilya Wants A Wife".
I transformed that magic circle to have it underneath Lusty posing here. This was my plan from the beginning.
I make the circle blaze with green fire, like Lusty has just been summoned from an infernal realm.
In the final version, I add some red candles lit up around the edges, adjust lighting a little, and we're done for the main version!
