Hi everyone, here's the WIPs!

I've just about finished the first page, and I'm working on other pages, as well as the cover.
I took lots of snapshots so you can see my process. Once the cover is done, I think I'll start releasing the pages to the public.

Enjoy! <3

P.S. I will be working on something for Halloween soon too!

A friend suggested maybe the crab is snipping her clothes. Ah ha! Of course! It's a lewd comic, what else would happen?
Yay!
I finally figured out what I want for this panel! Just showing how we got there.
As you saw last time, I drew out some ideas.
In the end though, I felt it had to be an escalation of what came before. A surprise crab is funny, but it's not exciting.

I'm trying to keep the panel energetic and suspenseful. Neither fighter is the clear victor.
Crazy contrasting colours in the background and some action lines for more excitement.
Characters all coloured.
Light and shadows added to make it pop! Also cleared up the firey swipe line of the sword to make the action more clear.
After all that adventuring, Lusty is tired. I pretty much captured the mood I wanted in the initial layout sketch.
Proper lines done, using the sketch as a guide.
Added colour, and made sure she looked sweaty and tired with shine on her skin, redness in face, tired expression, hair a little messy.
Back to the first panel of this page! Lusty swinging across a chasm, chased by goblins.
Here's a closeup without the guide sketch.
Drawing more of the environment.
I used photo reference of cave formations while drawing. There are lots of interesting ones! Good to have handy if your story's in a cave.
Background colours and light sources. I'm thinking there's lava or torches on the left somewhere, and sun from the surface on right.
Lusty and Swig get a lot more light than they probably should, but I like to make the characters pop off the dark background!
Here's the next page. I've started rearranging and changing the layout sketch.
First panel is in Lilya's house, so I go into my 3D model and render a viewport shot.
Popped the screenshot into the first panel, under the rough sketch, and started drawing Lilya.
Here I've just about completed Lilya.
Here's some background colours slapped on over the top of the 3D. That's it for now!
Here's Lusty's mum again, as a warmup sketch I did one day. I draw her every now and then, and she seems to change a little each time!
