I colour the flesh parts with soft pink. Realistically it would be blood red, but that's gross, and cross-sections aren't realistic anyway!

Here I try some motion blur on the tentacle, and lots of sound effects to sell the motion.

I decide to try scaling back the sound effects, because it's kinda crowding out the art. It's less intense, but I think it's necessary.

I decide bright white was better for the sfx, and cut down on the size and number of them. I also add some motion blur back to tentatoy!

For the next panel, I get back into Blender to get a nice shot of the bed from the side.

The first angle I tried was too low and didn't have enough room for Lilya. Higher angle it is!

I shove the screenshot straight into Clip Studio Paint.

This time I decide to trace over the lines I want, and leave the screenshot out of the final art.

I slap down my main colours for the background (and foreground flower vase), and also roughly sketch my concept for the last panel.

I render Lilya with tonal shadows, highlights, and some rimlighting to make her pop! + some motion lines to describe the action.

Using multiple photo references, I start sketching in the figures. Little Lilya heads pop in to give expression to Lilya's thoughts.

More photo reference, and I'm getting very close to what I want for Ashmodai the barmaid.

On another layer, I put in the heavy blacks for her lingerie, pasties, and hair, and erase some points with my custom eraser for highlights.

Looking back at the two pages this background character was in, I draw the undine street dancer... minus some of her clothing.

I keep her colours consistent with her earlier appearance, just because I'd notice if it was wrong. I have a feeling nobody else would care!

I was gonna leave her as just inks, but since I coloured the undine, I thought I should colour Ashmodai as well. And I'm glad I did!

Drawing her like this brought back some feelings of nostalgia! I airbrush some pink on the edges of all three girls to make them dreamy!
