We're Going on HOLIDAY! - & Announcing "Essence" (Patreon)

Hey Everyone! 

It's been a 21 months straight of mapmaking - and it's time for a holiday reset. We've paused payment for this month, and will likely do so in August as well. But stick around...

We've had another project brewing for several months that you may be interested in, and we're finally taking a leap at developing it! It's a board game where we hope we can bring to fruition the spirit of our mechanics supplements, lore, and really, a lot of the other non-map content we've developed over the years! We found it difficult to integrate our ideas seamlessly into an existing game like DND, so we thought we'd try to make our own.

The game will be set in Moltania (that's where the Elves and Dwarves live). The working title is ESSENCE - and the game revolves around collecting Gear, controlling territory, and battling monsters! I won't elaborate too much yet, but think: Civilization x Monopoly x Dark Souls. The thumbnail for this post is an early concept for the Game Board. The other image is the region we're using as inspiration.

We'll post regular updates and teasers here as the game develops, but seeing as this is new territory for us - I'm not sure exactly what our updates will entail. lol

Come September, the plan is to get back to mapmaking and honoring the reason you're probably all here! But please humor us in the interim and let us know if you have any ideas!!!
