The Manor of Baron Slim puts all other homes in Phynic to shame. No suprise, considering Zachariah Slim's status in the bustling town - sitting president of the Bank of Barons, benefactor of the North Lurzian naval boom, and generous patron to local musicians and thespian troupes. Slim's estate is actually modest considering his financial stature, but still functions as one one of the town's more notable venues.

Most of Phynic's residents revere Slim as a hometown hero, but those more worldly citizens are skeptical of his true motives and concerned about his unchecked power in the north of the Jeronian Sea. Slim's foothold in Phynic grants him great influence over Jeronia's Bounty, the Scorpion Isles, and the coastal cities of the Dwarven Waste - a politically fluid region with subjective boundaries.

Naysayers warn that Slim will soon leverage his influence to benefit only himself and his fellow Barons. But with cards kept snug to his chest, Slim's charming smile secures him another day in our good graces.
