Hello all! I've been testing out improving the geonode system for Venom's tendrils. In the original animation, I created areas of these surface tendrils and converted them into meshes before weighting them to Black Widows' armature. The downside of this was that they couldn't change in any way and where quite the performance hit on Blender too.

Now I've reworked the system and figured out a way of getting the geonodes curves to follow the animated mesh, this in turn means I can have the tendrils grow and shrink through the animation instead of just being static.

I'm really happy that I've figured this out, it was a major thing I wanted for the animation and I hated that I couldn't include it in the original.

this is amazing and the spread of venom looks perfect, I can't wait to see more

Thank you Spider! I was really happy when I was able to get the whole thing working. It's something I really wanted for the original animation and now I can finally include it.
