As a trans woman, I appreciate you declining to be on BBC to talk about HL and just avoiding talking about the game in general. Seriously, I can't stress enough how much it sucks to see people just casually talk about it knowing the problems showing it off and talking about it brings. Not sure how much BBC covered it but on one of their Radio shows they got a trans woman and cis man in a "debate" about villainizing people excited for the game and wow was that really awkward. Cis guy brings up name calling and what not like... Bud, you wish name calling was the worst it could get for some of us lol. They specifically cut it off before the trans woman could get most of her points across though so we kind of know how they feel. You definitely dodged a bullet there in my opinion. Anyway, thanks again for the podcast! Always love listening to your thoughts on stuff. Also 4Kids is *technically* still around but it's not the same company it was. They filed for bankruptcy in 2016 and "came back" as Kidtagious Entertainment in 2019 but they have none of the same licenses and make a lot of cheap looking kid shows.
