Didn't Sakamoto say Dread was the finale to the "Metroid Saga", or something along those lines. I think they'll go fresh and have an all new premise and story. Might mean Prime 4 is slated for 2024 as well, if they are planning to space them out. Edit: lol paused the podcast to comment this RIGHT before you said it 😅 Dont think Samus Returns is well...good enough to bring to Switch. It is fun, but imo its the worst in the series its bloated and samey. Would hurt the brand if anything. Hope you get to play Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn some day. Standout gameplay and writing wise in the series imo. I'd say 3Houses is a middle ground w/ the "animeness" of the writing for the series. Serious elements and back stories, but personalities still feel tropey. The stroking was in Fire Emblem Fates on the 3ds. You could stroke your characters while they were in swim suits (child units too). Thats where that big "censorship" discussion came from. Much much worse than the Anna stuff cut out this time around.

Well, they pretty much made it, you know? It was called Raiders of the Broken Planet or something. It was a live service game and didn't do very well.
