Hey Liam, I have a question for whenever the next podcast is. Do you have any insight on Xenoblade Chronicles X coming to Switch? I remember it being rumored ages ago, but nothing ever came of it and it’s beginning to feel like they probably won’t go back to it at this point. Just thought I’d ask.

Aside from Jez Corden, you've consistently been the only person to actually deliver accurate information about Wumpa League and I really appreciate the work you've put into reporting on this game. It's nice to have some clarity regarding what's gone on behind-the-scenes at a game studio I respect, involving a game franchise I love, even if much of the news has made me sad. I used to be pretty involved in the Crash fandom, but the insane reaction to your initial Wumpa League scoop was a major reason why I stepped away. A serious case of "shoot the messenger" warped into weird drama and rampant spread of misinformation that has plagued the fandom for, what, nearly two years now? It's been endlessly exhausting trying to sidestep needless toxicity that all sprouted as a result of *not wanting to believe that a game they were excited for got shelved.* I think a lot of Crash fans are really desperate for good news since the series was in limbo for much of the 2010s. I also think that big name fans/Crashtubers/Crash influencers (whatever you want to call them) are ready and willing to capitalize on that desperation. I don't believe they are doing so out of malice, but regardless of their intentions, the end result is the same: a fandom that's eating its own tail, constantly hyping up the imminent release of a shelved game only to be disappointed when nothing arrives. Of course, now that there's some concrete proof that something *is* happening with Wumpa League, it'll be interesting to compare the final product to the concept art & prototype footage you've shared. Thanks again for your dedicated reporting - some of us Crash fans are grateful, at least!
