On a varied and extra long episode of Liam Unfiltered, Dan and I discuss a pretty wide ranging and random assortment of topics including the decline of Netflix animation, Sonic Prime, the Nintendo contractors controversy, Prince of Persia: Sands of Time remake getting rebooted, and then we have an in-depth discussion about Doctor Strange In The Multi-verse of Madness and the MCU.

Note: this was recorded a few days ago so we didn't cover any of the Indie World on this one. Sorry! Next episode we'll probably touch upon it.

She-Ra was actually a pretty amazing Netflix cartoon. Think its right up your alley. Similar too Castlevania where the 1st season sets things up and then it really ramps things up w/ the next few. "Gearing up" for Ghostrider aha Fancasts tend to be the same 10 actors for every franchise. Personally, not a fan of John Krasinski, given his very flat performance in A Quiet Place, but he does have the hype behind him :/ I thought a fair bit of Dr.Strange was shot kind of generic MCU, but man did Raimi's touch really shine through. Those pov camera angles, all the horror scenes, the shots inside the Illumanti, the transparent head shots overlaying other scenes...all just so unique and incredible. I think ppl who think Wanda's characterization is inconsistent are still viewing media through a mostly black and white lenses. Strange dealing w/ the weight of making that choice to let Thanos initially win and giving up the time stone was a great character moment as well. Oh wow Future Past is the only X Men film I havent seen and I felt so warm inside when Xavier said Strange deserved another chance b/c being trusting and optimistic is so him.
