Update 11/06/2021: I have added a new section onto the end of the video (starting at 7:04) to discuss fresh information that indicates there may be more Mario + Rabbids after all. Happy days.

Well, you voted for it so here it is!

My latest Patreon exclusive video, which is all about Mario + Rabbids. I share rumours from the past few years of development non-starters related to a follow-up to Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle. It's a weird story so strap in.

I will be sharing more info on this going forward. For instance, on the next podcast, I might share some more context that I wasn't able to include if possible.

Note that this video doesn’t address the Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope rumours going around, which appear to be true. There have been numerous Rabbids projects and the main one I discuss here is much earlier in development.

Wow... lots to digest! I wonder if, by thinking about Rabbids x Frozen, they were considering replicating the "weird"/"dark horse" factor that came with the initial Mario x Rabbids pairing. Thanks for the video!

Very interesting! I loved Mario x Rabbids, so I would definitely give a chance to any other similar project from Ubisoft.

(Don't read the rest of this comment if you want to avoid leaks) I dunno if you heard but seemingly PracticalBush12 on reddit leaked a list of titles that are going to be shown off within the next few days, he's done similar things before and was correct all those times, and one of them is "Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope". Daniel Ahmad seemed to confirm its accuracy on twitter. What do you think?

Totally possible! Again, these are just rumours that I have heard over the past few years that mostly concern Ubisoft Paris (the HQ). I cannot rule out that more Mario + Rabbids is coming. I actually think it’s inevitable that some team will do it if they’re not developing it already. I have heard those same rumours myself and was going to talk about them in another video or podcast.
