re: what Sakurai/HAL characters could be added, I'd love to see a Rick/Coo/Kine character (Pokémon Trainer-style), the Kirby animal helpers are so underrated and they recently got a visibility boost in Star Allies.... however Sakurai wasn't as involved with KDL2 and KDL3 which featured animal helpers front-and-center so maybe he doesn't feel as much attachment.... maybe Marx?
