We react to the surprising news that Nintendo is restarting Metroid Prime 4's development seemingly from scratch at Retro Studios. Also, some new indie games got announced, people were mad at IGN again, and there are rumours.

Apologies in advance for my slight slurring throughout this. I had just had surgery on my jaw hours before we recorded this.

Unruly Heroes his made by people who worked at Ubisoft Montpellier, so not very surprising if it's remind you Rayman Legends ^^

I'm glad that the MPT and the SF Racing game are at least not destroyed and cancelled as abruptly as they had to shift to MP4's restart. If they end up being held off or retooled for a later game akin to Project Robot and Guard, I wouldn't mind, really. (though I'd like the MPT to be out sooner rather than later) Also a bit surprised nothing was mentioned about those datamined SNES games, though I do recall you mentioning a while back they were planning to do something like that in the future so the fact they're coming isn't much of a surprise Also, I learned through this very episode that Wargroove has a map editor which makes it an instant buy as soon as I get out of the near debt KH3 will put me in this week, since my best friend loves Advance Wars 1/2 and we worked so hard to try and beat both games but we got stuck halfway through AW2 so we'd goof off with our own maps. This would be very fun to try out.

That tidbit about sega and google potentially reviving older franchises is very interesting and cool.

Message for Dan. Retro's games aren't underrated, they are more under appreciated because hardly anyone bought Wii U so couldn't play Tropical Freeze

Yeah, there have been rumours about this for a while now. I'm hopeful that it comes to fruition and isn't just one of those deals that fizzles out.

Yeah, we don't really know where SF Racing stands now but I currently have no reason to believe they will have shelved it. Everything I heard before this Retro shake-up indicated that it was going well (unlike their other project).
