About That Rumoured 'Rabbids amiibo' Picture... (Patreon)

Nobody seems to know what the situation here is, so here's a little Patreon exclusive scoop for you.

A few days ago, an image began doing the rounds that was posted by a Reddit user that supposedly depicted several Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle amiibo. I can confirm that the image itself is legitimate. These are internal test prototypes for Rabbids figurines, although their true nature is still a mystery. It's possible, perhaps even likely, that these were prototypes for amiibo, but nobody knows for sure yet.

I was first shown this image, alongside a few others, a couple of weeks back. It came from verified Ubisoft sources who have leaked other material from the project in the past. I was sent this image by two sources; one of which described it simply as "merchandise".

Rumour has it that Ubisoft has pitched doing Rabbids Kingdom Battle amiibo to Nintendo, but there's not yet enough evidence to strongly say that this image is related to that effort. Regardless, this is a real image from its development. Sorry, #TeamFake.
