After months of work, I present to you my investigation into an alleged 3D Donkey Kong that was rumoured to be in development at Activsion Blizzard's Vicarious Visions studio. The video also gets into the history of that company and what happened to them in the years after, including some of the shocking allegations against Activision Blizzard that came out around that time.

Please let me know what you think!

I will be doing a postmortem video to expand on this video exclusively for Patreon very soon.

Awesome work! On a side note about Shiggy’s intention to rekindle DK through all media ventures, I can confirm at the time of theme park development, there was some ‘synergy’ behind park dev and Nintendo’s brand. Usually the looks of the parks are locked in during the design phase and then sent out for bid and development through the companies that make all the ‘things’ for the park, using those locked in designs. Well there was one design that strangely got an update well after bids were completed and ‘things’ were less than a year out from delivery: the piranha plant’s leaves. Nothing major, a tiny change of shape and color changes, but at that point it was the only late design update that was ever sent from Nintendo themselves. And then about a week or two later after the update was sent, Nintendo announced Piranha Plant as DLC for Smash Ultimate. So it wouldn’t surprise me if the DK park was meant to ride the coat tails along a new game. And timeline wise that lines up exactly when bids and development started on the parks: 2016.

Incredibly well put together, Liam. Didn't expect you to dive so deeply into Activison's crimes. The pacing and stakes just kept building, didn't feel like an hour at all.
