Here is the video of me styling my Jim wig from Treasure Planet that you guys voted on!! Unlike my other tutorials with wigs where it all is pretty much explained in my video, here I need to write out a few thing regarding his ponytail!

To make his ponytail you are going to need a wire in it! Jims ponytail unrealistically curves up defying gravity! For this I used a 18 gauge wire I got from Hobby Looby!

To get the end PUFF of his ponytail I used a foam core base for this, I bought some foam easter eggs from Hobby Lobby as well, they were on clearance for 90% off lol. I painted them brown so they would be the same color as the wig fibers.

Next I took the foam egg and began gluing down loose fibers I cut off the wig earlier to it! I globbed on a bit of glue at the base of it used a mix of hairspray + heating and tacky glue to get it to stay on the foam!

Next we took our wig wefts and braided them through the center of the wire! This can take a bit to get right at first so take your time!

I then made a small hole on the nape of the wig and inserted the ponytail through that spot! I took our hair egg ball...lol...and glued it to the base of the ponytail! The extra wig fibers on the end then helped cover any mess from the glue and TA DAH! HE DONE!

Afterwards I also sewed down the weft to the base wig to make sure it would stay in place! <3
