Patreon has recently made a change to ALL pledges which essentially boils down to this: creators get payed more money (good), but supporting multiple creators has become more expensive for the supporters (not so good). This fee can also get even crazier if you support someone who charges per-creation instead of per-month.

Admittedly, I haven't fully read up on the changes, but the overwhelming opinion going around the internet is that this pretty crappy change if you pledge a few bucks to a lot of creators.

You can read Patreon's official post on the matter and watch this short video to get an idea of what's going on:

In short, if you're on a tight budget and can only spare a few bucks for a handful of people each month, money probably just got a bit tighter.  If you have to cut back on your pledges and decide to cut me out of your budget, I certainly won't hold it against you and I hope you can support me in the future when the system improves.

Patreon seems to have other plans in store for their system as a whole, so we'll just have to see how it continues to change. They've definitely heard the complaints so far.
