Inking just became a lot easier. I'm working on a pretty hefty sequence now, thanks to the experiments I've been doing with the Dr. Spiral comic.

See, as an artist, I've infamously drawn at low resolutions because I never needed to go any higher. That's changed significantly over time and so right now I'm drawing on a 12000 by 4000 for canvas for the full strip at 600 dpi

But the catch is, its all done on binary layers. These are pretty simple to understand, there's no pen, pencil, paint, marker, or airbrush. With a binary brush or a binary layer, everything is either black or white pixels. So you can understand for an artists like me who only deals with inks and never ventures into color. Doing things this way allows me to draw quicker and with less messy cleanup.
