Retooling my Manga template (Patreon)

A couple of days ago I got a great idea for a Kendra comic, and of course you already know I'm due to draw Faulkner for Valentines day, so I went back to my Manga Template.

I've shown it off in the past, but the template basically a set of guides I've made in SAI2 for myself. Most other artists use Clip Studio Paint but I've never felt the need to. Though that being said, Sai's overall lack of tools has made things difficult. Hence why every so often I find myself going back to my template and trying to improve it.

A part of me realizes that I could likely code up a static solution with HTML5, but by using Sai's vector layouts I'm in the process of making tri, quad, and quantic grids for Manga panels, and I need to make versions of these that work for full page, full margin, and full page /w gutter versions to cover all my cases.

It doesn't look as elegant as the last version, but it's all shaping up to be far more consistent.

And while I wasn't intending on telling you guys about this one, a slight family delay yesterday morning has resulted in my sleep schedule getting fucked, so there's a possibility ill be doing some late night streams since I'll have the energy for them. So stay tuned :3
