Untitled Devil Ink Practice (Patreon)

This was originally a bic doodle I did when the power was off and I used it to shake off some of the nerves I had. -- While I draw devils nowadays as religious expression, initially they were an exercise where I'd allow myself to draw without rules. And so it would be in this fashion that I'd practice certain skills that would invariably trickle down into my other work. In this case I was actually focused most on nailing the human's expression while also fooling around with the devil's arm and neck.

...I think I'll name this devil Phistomafel. He's really good at solving puzzles, and his skin feels like warm Fruit by the Foot.
