Maisy & Mako (body sketches) (Patreon)

Last night I made the 3D design dolls for both the characters and their fusion, and so I drew these to further familiarize myself with them and nail down their proportions.

For Maisy, I wanted to keep the more boyish proportions to mirror a woman going through the initial months of HRT. But for Mako I wanted to give them a distinct dad bod to drive home the fact that trans people come in all shapes and sizes.

One further note on Mako, you can think of them as a cipher for Maisy's confidence. Because despite being objectively more manly, he/she/they is far more open with their gender; feeling no shame or apprehension in wearing women's clothing.

~ They're also my first character with all white eyes, which I think works well with them being a shark. What kind of shark? The sharky kind!
