Now, this one has a little more to it.  The song Diana is singing is one I wrote (file below) for my music theory course.  It had some influences from Paul Simon's "Graceland" album.  The words are a smidge different in the comic as I was going off memory and then looked them up a few minutes ago.  I'm also not going to claim the song is "good" but not every piece can be.  It's done in midi originally and converted to MP3.  If it matters, I got an A in the class.

Here are the lyrics to "Brain Vacation":

She seems very nice
But she's evil
And she surrounds herself with
Disposable people.
And they give her
Everything she asks for
But they don't know
She'll always ask for more.

There's a man who works
For the government bureau.
He claims to be
A working class hero,
But when they checked
What was on his docket,
They found out who
Was lining his pockets.

I've got hope
And I've got fear.
And I don't know how
To make it more clear.
The man talking
On the radio station?
I'm certain has
Taken a brain vacation.

They said that
The truth had been stolen.
And after the fact,
Their silence was golden.
They all went south
To kiss the ring.
God only knows
What this will bring.

I've got hope
And I've got fear.
And I don't know how
To make it more clear.
The man talking
On the radio station?
I'm certain has
Taken a brain vacation.

The shots rang out
And they seemed so near.
But the message
Just isn't clear.
The man talking
On the radio station?
I'm certain has
Taken a brain vacation.
