Welp. Movies. (Patreon)

Nathan here, again.  Welp.  You've done it now.  Ryan and I are planning on reacting to The Greatest Showman, sometime before the end of the month.  It's a movie we both have wanted to see, but things just never worked out for us to see it, until now.  So there's that.

And...I've been reluctant to announce this, but here it goes.  I'll be starting the Twilight movies as well, sometime in the next two weeks.  I'm going to give fair warning - I might be cruel.  I've had a love-hate relationship with the movies/books ever since they were a thing and students in my classes would not stop talking about them, so I deliberately went out of my way to avoid them.  I've seen all the memes and the clips mocking the show, but I admit, I never watched the movies.  I read about two chapters of the first book and couldn't get through it.  But I'll give the movies a shot.  Ryan has read all the books and seen all the movies, so it'll just be me. There will me mocking.  But who knows?  I just might end up finding something to like. :)

As a palate cleanser afterwards, I'll also be watching Rambo - First Blood.  I know.  I wasn't allowed to watch gory action movies as a kid, and as I got older this one just never popped up back on my radar until now. Among the 700 podcasts that he has made, Ryan has a Podcast that just talks about Rambo, so I don't think he'll be watching with me.  But he'll be watching the reaction - guaranteed. There's more, but I'll keep that as a surprise until later.
