Nice reaction. Thanks. It was about a year or so between the Pilot and this episode. They filmed the pilot in California, but the rest of the show was all done out of Vancouver. The actors playing Sam and Dean didn't know each other before the show, but they became good friends right from the beginning and that helped their chemistry on screen. They were basically like brothers and so that really helped. Their ages are the same as the characters too, which also helped. This was the first leading role for both of them and they were really eager to give it their best, but they didn't have any expectation about it even going past one season.
