You should react to the Making of the Song. It’s about how Taylor wrote I did something bad, Gorgeous, Delicate, Getaway Car, King of my Heart, This is why we can’t have nice things, Don’t blame me and Call it what you want, Here’s the link - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I4WlSnWtkt8 Here’s link to Don’t blame me, which is missing from the previous video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JMtj6_nxRKw

So It Goes is weirdly my song off this album. But in the fandom this song goes largely ignored. Like, I get it, I can see why. Compared to most the record it's not as big and bombastic as a lot of other songs. But I love the use of metaphor here, using a magician and illusionist as kind of this forbidden love that they can't really show in public, but only they know what goes on closed doors. I also love the use of reverb in this song, I think it's super effective for the atmosphere it's trying to go for

at 2018 AMAs. And the making of the song….now that you’ve heard the song. I love watching her either create or talk about creating her music. https://youtu.be/WdhRjG60g9E

Finally. Remember the album is about meeting Joe and falling in love.ost songs are about him. Next. Delicate. The first line is one of her most famous lines. Dive bar on the east side, where you at. She references meeting Joe up at a dive bar. One song in particular that you have heard from folklore called Invisible String. The bridge of the song “a string that pulled me out of all the wrong arms right into that dive bar…”. Also the beat on delicate, not saying she started the trend, but it was very early on. It’s not tired at this point. And Look What You Made Me Do is probably, arguably, the best music video ever made. Plus, she HAD to release it as the first single. To take back her narrative, to stand up fur herself, nope. She had to come back with her own narrative. She had to. Otherwise, she wouldn’t be able to come back, she had to come back with this song. It’s no one’s fave song, but it’s probably the best mv ever made.

So it goes. No variations. I love the song. Yea. She played it only one time. Keep in mind she is falling in love, so yea some of these songs are about sex, for the first time in her career really writing about that. Gorgeous. Gorgeous is good live and I like the Making of a Song for this song. She can be objectifying him, but keep in mind these are real. A26 yr old, attracted to someone might have trouble talking to him, but the attraction is so real. The beginning of their relationship was casual, no promises, commitments, they had sexual attraction. And I think it’s a real thing, at that age, to feel attraction and feel awkward speaking to them. That’s the album. Meeting, feeing an attraction, feeing a connection, beginning to date, and fall in love. These are stages. And, it’s been awhile since I was 26, but from what I remember it can be full of attraction, hormones, and awkwardness. And it’s Taylor. The worst time of her life. She wasnt looking to get involved. Neither was he. It just ended up happening. Nearly 7 years later they are still together.

Ready For it, great music video. The first verse is all about Joe. He’s younger than all her exes (mostly older men) but acts like such a man. He is an intellectual, literature major who’s grandfather was a famous English composer. A model and actor. At the time they met, he had been in one film that hadn’t even been released yet. She was the biggest pop star in the world. The second verse is all about her. Stealing hearts and never saying sorry, he can be the Burton to this Taylor, all her other loves in comparison have been a failure, she doesn’t remember their names now. It’s asking him, are you ready for this? Plus, it’s an intro to the new sound, are we The fans Ready for it.
