I really love Harry and I really like James. And carpool karaoke is my favorites. So this is hard to watch because I know you hate James.

You asked what Harry got out of the relationship. Don't forget that they know each other from the beginning, when they were not popular at all, he took them under his protection, the boys from 1D lived in his house, James promoted them a lot, they were on his show hundreds of times, they know each other on the level of good friends. I think that James is a bit like a father figure to Harry. James is the 6th member of 1D. That´s why we love him too. Anyway, I understand your feelings and I appreciate you even being willing to watch this. :-))))))))))))))))))))))))))

Respect for the 4min. intro rant ! But i agree regarding the reaction when Harry said singing that song makes him emotional. if i remember right he wrote Sweet creature some time ago, beeing very young , and James knows about whom Harry wrote it. Thus that smiling exchange during the song.. and i assume maybe because of that James sang a lot less than during the other ones. I still like this Carpool karaoke as it seems Harry is genuine having loads of fun. But i guess from the interviews of Harry that i know, he decides for himself whom to trust. Learned that early, beeing young .. often the hard way. And James was asked by Louis mother, if i remember right, when all the boys first went to live in London starting 1D , to keep an eye on Louis .. his mother knew no one else there .. So maybe aside all of James shortcomings he genuinly cares for them , meeting them at such a young age... and he never seemed to have mistreated them. Around that time Harry hosted the Late Late Show .. good promotion also. Maybe James was different back than... I really don't think Harry in general is trying "to get" something out of any social contact. And due to all the stuff that is floating around the internet regarding him.. i get why he ignores it .. or doesn't believe any of it.. So its not unlikely he is not aware of all the James info , or doesn't believe it.

I love Harry and I like James... But I have always felt everyone has the right to their opinion. I don't expect people to like someone just because I do. We as individuals think and process differently. Someone may hate something for the same reason someone else likes it. You don't have to agree with their opinion, but you shouldn't criticize them or jump on them for being themselves. I like you guys because you say your honest opinions whether other people like it or not. People who react and go with the flow or fake it isn't a true reaction. It is ok to say something isn't your cup of tea and that you wouldn't be listening to that again. Keep being yourselves... That's what I came for... 🎶😎🎶

James looked out for Louis and Harry during X factor and early on 1d. Louis’s mom knew James from a show she worked in the crew on with him in the past. She was worried and called him to spend time with Louis to make sure all was good early on in 1d. Since they were close, Harry went also. James helped Harry when he needed somewhere to stay by arranging him to stay with Ben and making other introductions. He lived there for 18 months. I really think you need to be less critical and appreciate the interaction. There is a really sweet moment during sweet creature that shows how much they confide in and trust each other. James didn’t “look out for Louis and Harry”. He met Johannah, Louis’ mom, on the set of a show bc she was a child minder on set and Louis’ twin sisters, who were babies back then, were extras in the show. A few years later, when Louis auditioned for X Factor, Johannah messaged James and asked him to look out for Louis because he was living in London and didn’t know anyone. James agreed and Louis started going to his house and taking all the 1D guys with him. Harry endeared himself to James and his wife (then girlfriend) Julia, and he became super close to them. James still has a soft spot for all the 1D guys, but Harry is one of his closest friends in the industry and he’s godfather to his daughter. But it’s not that James “looked out for Harry and Louis” as a unit, cause they weren’t a unit. ALL the 1D guys met James bc of Louis and ALL of them became close bc of him. In fact, Niall is still super close to him as well.

I enjoy James Corden very much, he is a funny very talented man. Many seem to want to hate him, the same applies to Harry too, the hate is unfounded and perpetuated by those with their own agendas. Harry and he are good friends, I think Harry is a great judge of character and he has know James for many years and considers him a mentor that is good enough for me. It is a shame this was spoiled for me Ryan because you couldn't see past your hatred of James to see the connection the two of them have. Maybe you would be wise to avoid reacting to anything else that James is involved in. Harry is good friends with Ben Winston James' producer and it is Ben's daughter Ruby, Harry's God daughter who does the intro to As It Was. Both James and Ben have been invaluable friends to Harry since going solo and being in the U.S. such a lot, they have been like family to him.
