As some of you have probably noticed, the files that you have access to are getting challenging to find, and not always easy to open.  We're happy to announce a better way to do things.  Over the next few months, Nathan will be uploading ALL of Welp's unedited and recently released content to the Google Doc page linked above.  It will save loads of time trying to find the reaction you are looking for, and it will give you exactly what you paid for - an all-access to the good stuff, before we chop it up and spit it back out on YouTube.  The best part? We're committed to updating this EVERY time we record.  Yup.  That means that if you missed the live recording on Discord, it'll be uploaded within 24 hours to our server space with a link on the page to find it. Click the page above and check out our progress so far!  We're just getting started...

Just Welping y'all back.  Thanks so much for your support!

Love the library, and thanks for not using that blasted Dewey Decimal System! It's great to see your unedited reactions in near real time. One correction, you have Ride listed as the song, and 0X4 as the band. Glad you're interested in hearing more. As with any great band, the albums before and after Going Blank Again sound nothing alike. If it weren't for the vocals, you'd think they were by different bands. 0X4 by the way is part of the postal code for Oxford England, where 2 of my favourite bands are from, Ride and Radiohead. The song was written as an homage to their home town after being on tour for so long.

Shoegaze refers to the British habit of introverted bands (more songwriters than performers) playing with their heads down looking at their guitars or shoes rather than the crowd. Ride and Lush are considered Shoegaze and Dream Pop and use some distortion to create melodic noise. The Jesus and Mary Chain and My Bloody Valentine are Shoegaze and use a lot more heavy distortion creating a wall of sound first used by Phil Spector on Be My Baby by The Ronettes which blew Brian Wilson (Beach Boys) away when he first heard it. He played the song over a thousand times.

And so, the "legendarily lost" Rubber Soul episode can be watched 😎

Not sure where to leave this comment so I hope it is okay here! Kiwi (Harry Styles, of course) has evolved so much since that album was released. Harry and the band rock hard when doing this song live and they've added so many different pieces to it along the way....different intro, usually featuring Sarah and Mitch, different arrangements, etc. But the energy is always insane. Rob Sheffield from Rolling Stone covered a couple of his back to back shows at MSG and said that the floor and walls were literally shaking. He went on to say that there was only one other time he has experienced this in all his years covering shows, and that was night 2. The Coachella performance of this song is fire. Unfortunately, Coachella only left the video up for a little while and has taken it down. I haven't been able to find a copy of the actual pro footage and not someone's own cam copy. You would enjoy this immensely! And you have yet to see him really perform at a show. And you're right...many critics have said Harry is today's Elvis. Harry is a huge fan of classic rock and has a wide range of influences. He's an old soul. He has performed a few times with Stevie Nicks, with whom he is a good friend. You haven't seen anything yet! His evolution into a rockstar started in 1D, which you can clearly see in his performances through the years. And with his solo career, he has become better and better and has a blast performing. Oh...and he has said in many interviews that he loved being in 1D and loved their music...he should, they wrote it! He gets asked that a lot because people just assume they hated it. They loved it and had a blast. Harry has actually made hisnown arrangement of What Makes You Beautiful, 1D's very first single...the original is a bop but definitely that teenage bubblegum pop. He made it into a rock song and plays it at every show. He hasn't ever forgotten where he started and shows nothing but gratitude and appreciation for those years in the band. Niall and Louis have also arranged their own versions of a few 1D songs to fit their style of music.
