Great album. Ryan, just for you to know. King Crimson is super strict about it's copyright, so it is very difficult to post reactions to their songs on Youtube. Predict 99% of King Crimson videos will be blocked, unless it is live. Once I remember the official youtube channel of King Crimson uploaded the song Epitaph, then everyone was surprised that the band finally began to put the music in free access, and after about a week this video with the song was deleted lol. I don't know why, but it's funny P.S. Epitaph is so good. My fav from the album

This is definitely the first prog rock music I ever heard about 1970 or 71 on an 8 track tape when I was 14 years old. I was really into music starting from a young age with The British Invasion and then pop music, R&amp;B, Motown and Acid Rock but had never heard anything like this before. It was the start of something new and got me into bands like The Nice, McDonald and Giles, ELP, Yes and eventually Genesis and Pink Floyd. I don’t know who influenced these guys but I believe early Pink Floyd with Syd Barret predate them. I agree with you that drugs must have been involved in a lot of prog rock creativity and also would skip that part of Moonchild.
