There are some good bits for this episode, but it's generally a "meh" for me. Part of the reason is the relationship between the 2 cops just comes across pretty poorly for me. Either it wasn't written well, or it was the acting. Or both. And then the fact that the bad cop didn't shoot all three of them when he had a chance. He planned on killing them, but he didn't when he clearly had a chance. I did like Dean's "confession" though. And them showing us a bit of Sam and Dean's methods, like with the tricks they use. The Lore we got was just more info about ghosts.

This episode has grown on me the more I've watched it over the years. I really enjoy the bits with the brothers in the police station and the flashbacks early in the episode. The latter half of the episode has a decent twist, but the dialogue isn't as strong as in the first half. It was nice to see Linda Blair guest star, but she's not a great actress and it shows a bit here. I also think the "pea soup" joke is a bit too on-the-nose, but it's not bad enough to make me upset over it. Nice reaction! Looking forward to the next one!

I agree about Linda Blair. This episode shows in certain scenes that she is not a very good actress. And the guy who plays her partner, hams it up too much; in my opinion. But overall I do like the episode.
