Finally got to see the episode. It might not be one of the stellar ones but I still enjoyed it, and your review naturally. As for the sets, you have to remember that this show didn't have a huge budget, but I think it did great with what it had. Of course, Sam and Dean illuminate the screen by just being there. lol. :)

I love Jo and Ellen and am always happy to see them in an episode, but yeah this episode is definitely one of the weaker written episodes in the early seasons of this show. The dialogue is downright cringey in places. The actors did the best they could with it.
