I always forget when I see this episode again after a long time that it's actually a decent episode, because it's not one of my favorites from this season. The ending scene with Dean and Sam by the car is definitely the "moment" of the episode where we find out that Dean has been suspicious of John's death and knows deep down that his dad sacrificed his life to save him. Dean's desire to have been left dead is always heartbreaking to me.
