Continuation of February 17, 2021 "Brain Melter Pt. 2"

Dane smiled as the warm buzzing grew... smoke was floating across his vision and he felt like he was floating too. He felt his bowels shift, and the nice familiar feeling of a big fat poo coming out of his butt...

"ahhhh..." he said, relaxing into the warm sensation filling his pants. He brought the J toward his lips for another toke, his hand moving in slow motion as if he was underwater.

"Dane? Dane! Snap out of it!" cried Jessie, slapping the joint out of his hand.

"Uh....wha?" said Dane, looking up at Jessie through red, half-lidded eyes.

"Don't smoke that shit, dude! It's poison!"

"Whuh... whuh you mean iss poison?" asked Dane, looking completely confused.

"It fries your brain. Permanently! It'll make you poop your-" Jessie stopped and sniffed the air.

"Dude... you didn't... you did! Gross dude!"

"Wha?" Dane said, lifting out of the fog as he realized just what he had done.

"Oh.. oh no.. oh shit... oh god... gross..." he whined and made an agonized face as he suddenly felt very icky.

"Here," said Jessie, handing Dane a diaper. "Go get yourself cleaned up. Better put this on just in case."

Dane rushed off to the bathroom and came back blushing bright red, wearing nothing but a diaper and tee under his hoodie.

"Listen," said Jessie. "We need to get to a hospital. Now."

"Yeah… sure…" said Dane, absentmindedly starting to rub his diaper.

"No. Dude! Stop that." said Jessie, grabbing Dane's wrists and causing his many rows of bright kandi bracelets to clack together. "We need to focus."

"Right. Focus. Fuck, man. I don't want to end up like Jeff. I..." He started spacing out again. Jessie realized neither of them were fit to drive or do much of anything.

"Ahh…" he said, running his fingers through his thick dark hair, pulling it back over his head then letting it drop to frame his face. "Okay okay… Keys.. I need the keys to the van." He ran around looking for the keys along while Dane began to giggle and rub his diaper.

Eventually he found them in Dane's pants pocket, which was gross but he didn't really care right then.

"Come on, everyone! We're getting in the van!"

The screen door flew open and banged against the wall of the trailer as Jessie, with a little effort, managed to corral his two stoned friends into the van and strap them in in the back. He ran around to the front of the fan and drove off to the nearest medical facility, Mercy Hospital.

He parked in the emergency lane of the ER and jumped out yelling "Emergency! Emergency!! It's Brain Melter! They're in the back!"

He ran around and opened the back of his fan and brought the two men out only to encounter the hospital security personnel.

"Hey! You can't park- Oh my god. Get them inside, quickly!"

The staff took the two men in but stopped Jessie from entering past the public area.

"Sorry, sir, we can't have anyone but patients in the ICU. It's a war-zone in there with all the mind melter stuff."

"Okay… okay…" He said, out of breath and not sure what to do.

"Why don't you… go ahead and park your van in the parking lot. Then you can come back and fill out some information about your friends…"

"Yeah… Okay, cool… That sounds good…" said Jessie, clearly not feeling good or calm at all.

"Hey," said the security guard. Jessie stopped.  "It's gonna be okay. He's in good hands with us."

Jessie took a deep breath. The man was talking sense. Everything would be okay. He nodded and went back to the van to park.

When he got back and filled out the forms he asked the receptionist how long it would be.

"It's gonna be a while. Maybe you should just go home, son. We'll inform their families when-"

"NO!" he yelled. The receptionist drew back. "Sorry, sorry. I mean… look, they don't have close family. At least… well, that just wouldn't work. I'm the main point of contact… for both of them."

"Did you put the info in the forms?" she asked.

"Yes. It's all there. I'm Jessie."

"Okay, Jessie. We'll contact you soon. Just go home and get some rest."

Jessie opted to wait in the waiting room instead. He was too exhausted from the ordeal to drive anywhere. He fell asleep for he didn't know how long, and awoke to someone shaking him awake.

"Jessie? Jessie Valiant?"

"Yuh, yes? Huh? Who."

"Hey. Your friends. They've been evaluated. I wanted to give you an update on their status."

"Oh…" he said, holding his head. He had a mild headache from waking up in the middle of deep sleep. Some dream where he was a sissy maid. A nice dream he almost wished he hadn't woken up from. "Yeah… how are they?"

Jessie was on the edge of his seat wondering if it was too late for them.

"Well… they're not in any danger of getting worse," the nurse began… "But…"

"But what? Oh god…" said Jessie, freaking out.

"Well, they're going to need special care for a while."

"How long?" asked Jessie, wondering how they would afford such a thing.

"Well, we don't know. That's the problem, all of this is brand new. It could last a few days, or it could last…" Her voice trailed off.

"Oh god…"  said Jessie. He could feel the tears coming. "Where are they now? Can I see them?"

"They've been transferred to another facility," said the nurse. "Happy Daze Adult Daycare."

I kinda wanted Jesse to succumb as the "payoff" in this installment. Also don't remember enough about pt 2 to know why Dean would smoke the stuff that just messed up his friend. Also confused where the friend is during this. Whurrrr.

I DID get so excited at the Happy Daze thing that I searched your other posts to see if it already exists elsewhere. Can't wait for the schoolroom to be cloudy as all getout.

Jesse has a part to play elsewhere, dean doesn’t know how bad it is, he was told that you’re just not supposed to overdo it so he bargains with himself that he’ll “Just smoke a little bit”, the friend had been put down for a nap. When this becomes a full story these 3 parts might be part of the same chapter, otherwise I’ll clarify in revision.
