Before anything, this does NOT affect tomorrow's Inheritance release.

This week has been particularly difficult to get work done.
Monday was bug reports for the latest round of testing on Inheritance, then the last two days have been focused heavily on family responsibilities (As will tomorrow).  I MIGHT be able to do some catch up on Saturday, but that's yet to be seen, and Sunday will be spent paying my respects to a family member who passed away this week.  (It's not someone I was particularly close to, but it's hitting some people who I AM close to fairly hard, and I want to be there for them.)

This falls at a time when I have been trying to write the fourth quest for Last Stand of Ra, which is likely to be a pretty substantial piece of content.  So far this week, I've managed less than ten hours research time for that quest, and maybe half that much time actually writing.

What does this mean?  Well, it means I'm way behind on my writing this week, and I'm unlikely to get caught up in the next couple of days.  I'm faced with a decision, and I figure it's one that you guys should get some say in.

The next scheduled Last Stand of Ra build comes in two weeks.  It's unlikely that I'll get to work on it again after this weekend until after the next scheduled build.  There is a VERY small chance I'll get things caught up between now and then, but it's much more likely that the fourth quest will not be completed in time for proper testing and release.  Would you prefer that I release the new build in two weeks, including only part of the fourth quest?  (If I did this, I'd create a link to take players back to the sandbox portion of the game and then players could start the fourth quest again the following build in order to progress through the quest.)  Or, we can skip on this month's Last Stand build, I can finish up the fourth quest the next week I end up working on the game and likely add some other content as well, then I could release the next build at the scheduled time next month? (So instead of releasing a partial quest in two weeks, I'd release a complete quest in six weeks.)

some time we need a little time off from the daily grind. if taking a month more makes the release better and more stable than I am all for it.

quality or quantity really that is a question for you not us, how do you want your work viewed, you have to ask yourself.

I actually prefer to release content that is ready to be played completely. That said, I've been doing this for about three years now through Patreon and I've almost always released on a predictable schedule. I figured that if I was breaking from that, then I owe it to people to ask what they think.
