Meeting Eve. (Patreon)

I'd mentioned a while back that I was going to try something new.  That I was going to try making an update post from the perspective of one of the characters in the game I was working on.  

Today I'm going to give that a try.  I've set the post up as a poll so you can all weigh in on what you think.  If it's well liked, then I'll do this more.

Eve peeks around the corner, a nervous sort of excitement in her eyes, "Hi,"  She says, waving as she comes fully into view, "Um, I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to be doing here, but GateKeeper asked me to come talk with all of you for a few minutes."

She glances over her shoulder at someone you can't see, "About what all happened this last week,"  She hastily adds.

"I don't get to meet new people often,"  Eve blurts around a sudden grin.

Eve sways back and forth, making her sundress swish around her legs, "This week was awesome!  We did a bunch of singing with the karaoke machine I found in the attic.  My sister even sang a couple, and I got to sing one with her!"

"Mitsuko was sneaking around Master's bedroom, I'm not sure what that's all about,"  She shrugs, "And GateKeeper said something about fixing the straps in the dungeon so people could get out of some kind of cross,"  She trails off, "But I don't know much about that, that room always scared me."

Her eyes turn upward, like she's trying to think of what else to say.  Without warning she giggles, "We had some naughty fun this week too!"  She bites her lip, a little color touching her cheeks, "Master poked Gaia in the boob,"  She isn't quite able to hold back her laughter, "But she poked him first."  

"I got to dress Rey up all pretty, he always looks so much like a girl anyway, I thought, why not?"  She giggles again, "And he looked SO cute!"

"And in the morning, I snuck into Master's bedroom and, . . . . "  Eve trails off as her cheeks flare red, "It was fun, but I'm not sure Master would appreciate me telling everyone about it, . . . "

"ANYWAY!"  Eve declares in an exaggerated manner before continuing, "CHRISTMAS IS COMING!!!  Can you believe it!  I think we're actually going to get to celebrate Christmas this year!  Anna always told me that Santa was scared to come to our home and our old Master wouldn't let us celebrate either, which is why we never got to have Christmas before.  This year I think it's going to happen though, we're going to get to have Christmas!"  Her energy is infectious as she bounces in place, every word coming faster than the last, "I heard Master and Anna talking about presents, and I'm going to stay up late on Christmas Eve,"  Her tone becomes soft, conspiratorial, "I'm going to talk with Santa when he gets here,"  She nods solemnly, as if anything else about the situation should be self evident.

"Now, don't tell Master, but I heard there's a new episode of Futa Apocalypse on the TV, so I'm going to wait until everyone falls asleep, then I'm going to sneak downstairs and watch it!"  Eve's grin turns impish, "Anna says that the show isn't appropriate for me, but I kind of like it.  It has penises, and penises are awesome."

"So um,"  Eve glances over her shoulder again, then raises both hands and shrugs, "I guess that's what happened this week."  She stands up straight, then waves like she did when she first arrived.

After a few seconds, she glances over her shoulder, then back at you, "How's this supposed to work?  Fade to black?  Do I stage right?"

Anna's melodious voice can be heard softly from somewhere out of sight, "Tell them thank you for their support, and say goodbye."

"Oh yeah!"  Eve grins and waves again, "Thank you all for your support, it's really awesome that all of you are so generous and support GateKeeper so he can write all the time!  And, um, I guess this is goodbye?  Bye!  Hope to see you all again soon!"

Without a second thought, she pivots and nearly runs out of view.  A few seconds later, you can hear her in the distance, "How did I do?  Do you think they liked me?"

This kind of post takes a bit longer to write, but in all honesty, it was fun to write.  Let me know what you all thought in the poll below.  And I'd love to hear your thoughts if anyone wants to say anything in the comments section below.  For the moment, I'm thinking about doing these as a Patreon only weekly summary.  More or less often than that will depend on how well you all enjoy these kinds of posts.
