Inheritance Progress Report (Patreon)

I'll admit, the chaos yesterday put a pretty big dent in the progress I had hoped to make.  That said, I'm still on track for getting everything done that I had hoped to complete for the next update.

Last night, after reporting in, I wrote the darker branch of the sex scene at the end of the game's intro.  

Today was intended to be a family day, as such, I didn't get a lot done.  I did however do just a little writing to finish up a scene I'd started previously.  I also got the eavesdropping scenes coded for future use.  Not bad for a day I wasn't even sure I'd get to open the game up.

Tonight, I hope to release the next build of The Allure of Wanton Cove.  Might appear a bit on the late side tonight, but you can probably start watching for it 4-8 hours from the time of this post.

The current state of Inheritance:

-The sleep function being added to the game should be enough of a template to add a lot of other things that need to go into the game.

-After yesterday's marathon fix session, we've got probably 30-40 scenes that were not working previously which should now, including one of the interactive scenes.  Fixed the broken relationship code in the intro which should serve to adjust interactions once you enter the main area of the game quite a bit.  Added one new branch through the sex scene at the end of the intro.  Added one interactive scene to the game.  Added the sleep/wake function to the game.  Added the ability to assign Anna to either your bed or the room she would otherwise share with her sister.  All of that is ready to go right now and will appear in the next build of the game.  

-Using the sleep function as a template, I'll be trying to add the master bedroom sex scenes, shower scenes, punishment scenes, meals, summons scenes, conversations, masturbation, and eavesdropping scenes to the game over the next few builds.  The initial set of scenes for each of those has been written already and the scenes themselves have been coded for the game.  Just need to modify the sleep mechanic for use in each of those locations.  In other words, its all ready to go, we just need to put it in the game.  Best guess is that the sex mechanic will take 4-6 hours to fully place in the game (What can I say, there's a lot of content there.), and probably an hour a piece for the rest of them.  

-Depending on how much time I have on my hands tomorrow (Priority will be bug fixes for Wanton Cove after all) I might be able to add a little bit more.  If so, I'll probably try for one of the other functions mentioned above.

And now you guys know about as much as I do!  Not as productive of a week as I had originally hoped in some ways, but at the same time its managed to front load a lot of the big elements that will be going into the game in coming weeks.  Its going to be really nice seeing it all come together over the next couple of builds.
