Since the Mansion Grounds came up in conversation earlier, that's been on my mind today.  Its probably a month or two before I plan to add the grounds to the game, but that doesn't mean we cant start planning for it.

I posted my personal notes for the grounds below, but I wanted to see if anyone had other ideas for things they would like to see in the game.  If you can think of anything you would like to see on the estate grounds, feel free to mention it in the comments below.  If I like the idea, I'll add it to the places  I'll add when the time comes

Grounds:

-Back Yard:  Large lawned area with few points of interest.

-Front Yard:  Hedges and driveway area

-Driveway: The long wooded drive leading up to the house from the gate.

-Garage: Near the house at the end of the driveway.  Space to park four cars and possibly a small work area to maintain vehicles (Not planning to include mechanics for this within the game, though if there's interest in something like that I'd entertain the idea.)

-Greenhouse: Place for growing specialty foods or components to be used in the laboratory.

-Tool Shed:  Place to store tools and equipment.

-Kennels: Place for housing, breeding, and training dogs.

-Stables: Place for housing, breeding, and training horses.

-Pool: Outdoor swimming pool  (Bathing room has a pool, and while that pool is large enough to swim in just a little bit, that's not the intention of it.  This would be purely for recreational use.)

On the Wanton Cove front, I've worked through the bug reports reported and will be posting the fix this evening (Start watching for it in about 3-4 hours.)

Now, for something significantly more personal:

I have a family member who is going to be crunched pretty tight financially in the near future, and I've been thinking a lot about how best I can help out over the last couple of weeks.  I thought of something a while ago that I decided to run past all of you.  If you're interested in taking part, wonderful, I'll be sure to give something back to you guys to justify your generosity.  If not, that's fine too, after all, I'll be putting $30 of my own money towards this too.

My sister-in-law is in the hospital right now, preparing to give birth to her third child.  In the interest of helping her out, I told my wife just a little bit ago that I'll be taking all of this week's "Charge Up Front" earnings and spending it on diapers/wipes/formula for her in an effort to help.

What is a "Charge Up Front"?  Basically, anyone who pledges, or increases their pledge, is charged for that as soon as they sign up.  After that, a person is billed on the first of each month from then on out.  In other words, if you've been on the fence about signing up, this might be an excuse for you to pledge a dollar and take a look around at the Patreon builds of our projects.  If you're already a member and want to give something, just raise your pledge to the next level for a bit and be sure to drop it back down to your original level some time before the next billing cycle comes around (Or for that matter, set your own amount if you aren't interested in checking out what's at the next level up).

This weekend has been very good to Aftermath Team, so there's already about $25 in the Up Front balance.  Between that and the $30 I'll personally be putting towards that, we'll already be at $45, so that will be a big help even if not much more comes in.

If this is something you'd be interested in doing, wonderful, if not, there's no harm done.  That said, if we can hit $50 (Diapers are expensive), I'll share one of the completed Inheritance scenes with all of you that I haven't shared yet, as well as one additional scene for every $50 past that.  I doubt we'll hit more than the first target, but for what its worth, I've got two scenes I've shared with select people plus about 8-10 scenes I haven't shared with anyone yet.  ;)
