Got some stuff to share on this front today.

Took me about six hours, but I wrote a roughly 3k word scene for Wanton Cove today.   I'm pretty sure it is one of the darkest scenes I've ever written.  The scene can play out five different ways depending on your current Taint and Depravity levels.  Also wrote a couple of new entries in the "People" section of your "Case Notes" to include Lady Anne and her husband.

Received an update pic from our Wanton Cove artist.  They made the changes I suggested (Tanya no longer has the "Joker" smile.)  and it looks much better than before. We then pulled a bit of a Q&A session related to Azumi.  It sounds like they plan to do some sketches for Azumi, then come back and do the backgrounds for both of the primary images we commissioned this month.  All in all, we've got about 5k words of new content since the previous build.

Going to try getting a little more content written later today, but not sure what for yet.

How fast do you work? o.O

That all depends on the day. Today's performance was pretty disappointing. If I can get 4 or more hours in a block without interruptions, I can usually crank out close to 1k words an hour. Factoring in code and everything else, a lot of the time its as little as half of that (Like today) That's all fit around an average of 2 hours worth of emails/private messages/forum posts that I respond to every day either to coordinate the rest of my team or reply to fans of the game. On a good week, I get to work perhaps 4 days out of the week in any serious way (Replying to messages being a 7 day a week job) and about half of my writing time goes into secondary projects like Inheritance, Therapist, or a couple others.

Can't wait to see how Azumi turns out 😊. Absolutely loved the character (often went back up the hill to visit)

I love to write, and writing (usually) comes naturally to me. Its the coding that's difficult for me. Thankfully I've met a few very talented coders along the way who are willing to lend a hand from time ti time. Are fully text based games doing well now days? When they are well done, they seem to, though with just a little bit of art, they seem to excel. That said, games with extensive art seem to so SO much better than text based games, which is one of the big reasons that I've been adding some art to Wanton Cove, and why we hope to make Inheritance an illustrated game from the start.
