Free Comic Book Day (Patreon)

I know this is completely unrelated to pretty much anything, but:

Tomorrow is one of my favorite days of the year, its the day that the two comic shops within driving distance participate in an event called "Free Comic Book Day."  And well, you guessed it, they give out free comic books!

Every year, I make the drive and gather up as many comics as the vendors allow (I know the owner of one of the stores fairly well, so he'll let me pick through them a second time about a week later too!) to take home all of the comics I want for myself.  Once I have all of the ones I want, I'll go through what's there again and pick up a few for my kids or nieces.

If you enjoy comics, I encourage you all to find your local comic shop and see if there's anything that catches your eye.  And even if you dont enjoy comics (What's wrong with you?) then stop anyway and see about grabbing a few for someone you care about so you can bring a bit of joy into their lives as well!
