About my comics (Patreon)

Hello everyone!

I’ve got news for you! A couple of months ago I started working on the first comic based in my universe! It will cover my fox’s origin story. Back when she was a little girl in a red kimono who you could see on some of my artwork. It will cover how and why she came to the human world, about who and what affected her decisions.

Job done so far:

At this time, I already have a concept for the origin story. It will consist of 4 chapters approximately 60 pages long each. I have first 12 pages done, and I have figured out a fitting workflow. I also have about 2/3 of the first chapter laid out on the storyboard.

I’m dedicating 3-4 days a week to the storyboard. It is the most complicated thing for me now, as I don’t have much experience with long continuous stories at least when it comes to comics. That’s why the storyboard itself takes a lot more time then the illustrations and pages themselves. I hope I’ll be able to make this process faster. I’m also doing my best to not let this project interfere with making rewards for my Patrons, and it works so far.

Accessing the comic:

I’ll be using Patreon for this, cause I’m familiar with the platform, unlike any other websites. For years my Patron’s support allows me to keep working on my own universe without worrying about finding a fulltime job or taking commissions. I do not know when I’ll be able to publish it for all to see or spread it to other platforms, or if I will publish the entire comics, but for now I’ll be posting pages and chapters on my Patreon.

The first pages will start appearing this month, so don’t miss them!

Here’s a quick workflow overview:

- Chapter storyboard;

- Initial editing;

- Implementing edits;

- Line - Colour (After this the page will be posted on Patreon).

- Final editing for an entire chapter;

- Full chapter release on Patreon with changes made during editing.
