I'm working on Paper Mario arrangements and making the songs sound like modern Paper Mario games (The Origami King, Color Splash).

You can download the songs in high quality (320Kbps) now and feel free to use it. I'd appreciate some credits :)

Coming this weekend: Main Theme (Tittle Theme) so stay tuned!

Paper Mario Remastered | Main Title / Theme (Arrangement - 64K)

Reuploaded to fix one typo and change the logo size. I'm remastering Paper Mario (64) music and giving some modern vibe (The Origami King & Color Splash). feat. new textures like Tubba Blubba, so the opening gameplay is like 90% remastered now at 4K. Stay tuned for more updates! If you listened to the Color Splash main theme before, this arrangement will sound familiar to you. While I really applaud the effort, and am impressed that you’re venturing into music remaking as well as your graphic enhancements; I feel like the sound-font/samples (instrument sounds) that you are using sound a bit to stiff and default. It loses a bit of the charm compared to the original I’m afraid! I’m a huge audiophile though so don’t take my attempt at constructive criticism too hard; keep up the good work :D

To be honest the trumpet and sax is something I never wanted to add, but I had to because of the instruments in the actual music. I just wanted to keep the violin and guitar (played by me using a Takamine guitar) so it would sound like Color Splash intro. Criticism is good and I appreciate it :D

I think you should try going for a simple HD soundfont cover since it'd be a lot easier to work with and wouldn't steer to far from the original game vibes <3. But if you're going specifically for Origami King and Color Splash style then I think you'd need better samples + VSTs and possibly need to record some stuff irl.
