Loved this reaction. The themes you touched on this reaction and the whole "Kageyama situation" this episode has been a part of my life that I have constantly and still am struggling with. I really like how you articulated it in the reaction and the comparison to the Todou and Yuji relationship was really interesting. Thanks for the great reaction and I always look forward to having my dinner and watching some great Mr.Goodwin content!

I know Kageyama’s middle school team gets a lot of flack, which I totally get, but they were just middle schoolers. It’s clear from the interactions at the Shiratorizawa camp that Kindaichi, the most antagonistic, was pretty much past the whole thing and seems to care for Kageyama, and Kunimi (the guy that doesn’t put in a lot of energy) wasn’t holding any beef at all.

To me it always came across like Kageyama has always wanted and tried to be the best and go above everyone else. Thats why he is always fighting. His team in middle school seemed like they were just playing volleyball. Its like in real life sports, you have the greats, and then you have the people on the bench. They both play professionally but who is really in LOVE with the sport

@UndeadDesk While I agree for the most part, I don’t think that it’s about whether they love the sport or not. I don’t think that just because Kindaichi was angry at Kageyama as a middle schooler or not having the same ego Kageyama had means he doesn’t love volleyball. In some ways, I think his love for volleyball caused his grudge. Kunimi, who is less enthusiastic about volleyball, seems to not really care too much about what happened in middle school. I think that it is Kindaichi’s love for the sport that made him so bitter towards Kageyama for making him enjoy it less.
