Yeah, there's a time skip at the end to showcase the confession...but it skips a whole ishigami, tsubame and miko arc. But the name of that arc is "New Game Start", so most people assume the tease at the end is we will get a season 4 to adapt it.

A lot happened at Tsubame's party, but I think the series is leaving the door open for Season 4 by cutting that part out for now. From what I've seen, it sounds like Season 4 is gonna happen, just no dates have been announced yet

One of the most interesting parts of the show/manga for me at this point was how they proceed to go public or keep the relationship under wraps and for how long.

Season 4 will definitely start with going back to what everyone else's Christmas events were. The movie decides to focus on Kaguya and Miyuki's story but largely ignores everyone else.
