just to clarify, Kisa didn't know why AKito hurt her, in Kisa's mind she just got randomly beat, so imagine how hard it was for her. she gets put in the hospital for 2 weeks by a grown adult, then her best friend seemingly abandons her, then she starts getting bullied at school :(

“You’re so dense Kyo” Kyo really is when it comes to anything with romance. I also think it’s funny how he was like “How is that a punishment” to Tohru giving Hiro a hug. Kinda revealed his feels about Tohru that he doesn’t seem to be aware about. I really like Hiro’s characters. Obviously he’s a brat and would be insufferable to be around. But he really is a kid with a big heart. His love for Kisa is adorable. Really impressed with how much character development for him they fit into this one episode.

Hiro's introduction is always a little rough! Given that he is a sohma that doesn't like tohru....but i am sure he will get around to liking her...😁 Tohru is just just that special! Also upcoming episodes are my favs..😍

The sheep has entered. Hiro is another one of my favorites, top 5 Zodiac for me. I love his dynamic with Kisa and the others, its enjoyable to have a recurring character who isn't just a total sweetie/nice guy. Ending of the episode had be tearing up, I really love this character introduction a lot.

I'm gunna be honest it took me a long time to appreciate hiro as a character... he's not this nicest person and i always thought it was unfair of him to treat Tohru the way he does. But i think he's a strong character because he's really different from everyone else and i think that creates some interesting dynamics in the show. Oh and i wanna say I really appreciate Kyo for consistently sticking up for Tohru in this ep lol! I know she doesn't mind and she handled it well but it still isn't right for someone to constantly put you down.. especially if its a kid as self aware as hiro is!

Another episode and I'm realizing that Shigure is my favorite character. Can't believe it took a rewatch to realize it! I'm so glad you're enjoying this show, as it can tend to throw some people off at first with how "extra" it can be. I know plenty of people who dropped it only a few episodes in. I'm also realizing that Frubu is a great show in general for your commentary because its whole premise is mostly over mental health and character growth. It's great to see you analyze a character and then watch Tohru help that character, and the moments when the show's ideologies line up with or "alter" your own are always satisfying! I'm super excited for Season 2 just around the corner.
