AHEM... *pushes up glasses*... If Mirio's quirk makes him completely intangible and even light passes through him, the parts of his body where it is active should be invisible. He's good, but I doubt he's so good that this would never be noticeable. In all seriousness though, I love Mirio's character. Both his personality and the thought put into his quirk. I wonder if that nitpick might be a result of that partial/shifting invisibility just being difficult to convey through drawing in the manga. Or maybe they just thought it would look cooler this way.

season 4 has my favorite openings! Also expect more great things from Mirio (and the Big 3). LOL at Hagakure's comment about her quirk, I guess she is self aware.

Season 3 is really great, but I absolutely love season 4, especially the first half. The Shie Hassaikai/Overhaul arc is my favorite in the show so far. You have a lot to look forward to.

Just a heads up, the first episode of every season (except season 1 ofcourse) is a filler episode. I still think they’re worth watching though. Excited to join you for season 4!

When your talking about Talent I 1000% Agree when people who are naturally good at something and its harder for them when they hit their first big high point. As a former Band Geek I was really good at playing Trumpet but didn't realize until I hit high school I couldn't read music very well and I was only good after hearing some one play the Melody so it took me forever to finally put the time and effort to reach beyound just me being naturally good at trumpet and it did help me vastly improve because learning to read helped me understand Different Keys which in turn helped me g et better at improvisation in my jazz course.

This happened to me in my academic career and is one of the reasons I am so bitter about school. Through 8th grade I got effortless A's without studying. I ended up at an "elite" high school and just couldn't cope. By 11th grade I was failing just about everything and had no tools at my disposal for figuring out how to navigate, which led to me getting frustrated and dropping out (among other reasons).

Next episode we will have watched the same amount of MHA episodes as FMAB episodes. 64 is next. I think for AOT we ended in the 70s somewhere, but MHA goes over 100. Wild ride so far and I've enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. Season 3 has definitely been my favorite, and season 1 (imo) outshines season 2 in some ways. Mainly those beach trainings. Also, there was a distinct lack of pro hero Hound Dog in this episode and it dropped my rating from 9/10 to 6/10, MHA showrunners, please add more Hound Dog. Thanks

Thinking about the hard work Mirio put into his quirk also reminds us of what All for One said to Best Jeanist, "Your strength comes from practice and practical experience, not raw power. I don't need your quirk." A skill is what you make of it. People with talent may not have been born with it, some have put countless hours into honing and polishing their skills to make what you see as talent.

I never thought about it before but Midoriya can relate really well to Mirio in having to think really carefully about which parts of his body he activates his quirk in, and to practice so much it becomes second nature.

The fan service in Mirio's case actually makes sense with his quirk. It adds another layer of consistency that I appreciate. The mangaka seems pretty adamant about being equal with quirks. If Momo has to have exposed skin for her quirk, so does Mirio logically. I still personally find the fanservice weird and creepy even as a 19yo fresh out of high school, but I don't think it's the end of the world. I've seen far, far worse from various shows, MHA fan service is like bare minimum compared to what's out there I watched a few episodes of Highschool DxD so I know how bad fan service can be

Soo excited for the Overhaul Arc!!! Can't wait for you to see it. Also, yes, Bakugo still had to clean the dorms and wasn't allowed to go back to class, yet. Oh, and Twice being the one to introduce Overhaul to the League is a pretty important aspect of his (future) story I just noticed.
