Following your idea of checking pilots on saturdays, i have to recomend you assasination classroom as i did for the last poll, it's not really mainstream and it's finished so it won't win any polls but i think that it will be excellent for you, you will find a lot of things to reflect and asosiate with your teaching experiences, the show is basically aizawa - students or tensei - korra or zuko - iroh relation, and ends up being very emotional toward the end (you may cry) it's like a hidden gem i really like and i think it kind of was made for you. Of course with just the pilot episode you won't get excesive character centered stories but as the show goes on you will understand what im talking about. Anyways, you do you, it's just a recomendation :)

I really enjoyed the team dynamic that they were setting up in this episode. There's something so great seeing these up-and-coming heroes banding together to overcome a pretty overwhelming threat. I guess that's why like superhero team ups are so exciting too. The stakes keep ramping it, this arc is so fun!

The fresh cut. That Seoul suave. Plus Melonlord absolutely mean mugging over the shoulder with arms crossed, dripped stupid, unimpressed with the viewer's aesthetic. This new era of Goodwin is already popping off. The show also is good. I might also now be a "Twice" fan. He's like a mix between Deadpool and Xavier: Renegade Angel

Yo Melon Lord really drippin. In all seriousness tho I think this is one of my favorite arcs in the show so far that's been animated. My favorite is yet to come but I love the amount of sheer danger that the villains exude in this arc with such confusion as to who these people are and how threatening they make them out to be currently. Great insights as always and can't wait for the rest of the season

I didn't like him first because I couldn't understand what was his thing as a character but as the show progressed I liked him more and more and now I think he is my favorite villain. Love me some Twice

I'm loving it. It took me a few episodes to get into season 3 but it picked up for me in this episode and the next

I knew you would make that mistake of underestimating the villains. You'll see later, but the first half of season 3 is basically the climax of a prequel show, and in my opinion knowing the stakes makes rewatching it even more exciting. Also "Deku, Todoroki, and Bakugo against Stain" why you gotta do my boy Ida like that.

I love how confused bakugo looks when deku is telling them that the villains are after him XD "he's still yelling but it just feels different" YUP YUP YUP OH OH OH AWASE IS A GOOD BOI I LOVE HIM AND NOT JUST CUZ HE SAVED MOMO also no toga is just....insane....she did say she goes for people who are all beat up and bloody and that's what deku was when she saw him XD
