To answer your question he started using "Full Cowling" Back in Season 2 when he learned he had too start thinking of One for All on his entire Body rather then a single part of his body. I am not sure if this is true or not as im not a manga reader but him saying "Full Cowling" is his own internal way of quickly imagining his quirk on his entire body like a Super Heros Cowl.

I have the same issue when kids appear I'm first kinda annoyed but now I love them so at least in my experience they do grow on you! Just for me its usually the second watch so I guess your job is to have them grow on you sooner haha

This opening is still the best. I remember I got in the anime right after s2 ended then to the beginning of S3 and this song got me hype a bit.

Onto the summer camp arc, one of my favorites! Once again, Aizawa is showing how observant he usually is. He understands that a lot of the students have grown, but there's still plenty to improve upon. Probably a few too many Mineta moments for my liking to start the season. It's a shame when characters are limited to such a gimmick, but I guess there are different cultural sensibilities

This is sort of unrelated to MHA but I've been reading Chainsaw Man (manga) recently, and now whenever I see pro heros I can only think of devil hunters and the regulations/politics of that world as well. On a side note, I highly highly recommend that manga. I'm on chapter 54 right now and it is just stellar. Plus it's getting an anime adaptation. This is honestly just directed at anyone reading lol I have been unable to shut up about this manga okay now I will watch this and give my update

Hey so it looks like you're watching the simulcast version (what it looked like when it first aired). The Uncut/Blu-ray version doesn't have those name cards pop up and doesn't have the brightness dimmed in areas with flashing lights. The name cards were actually in S2 but you never saw them since you were watching the Uncut version. If you're watching on Funimation, there should be an option to switch it, you know you did it right when the OP and ED have English credits.

Ah I see. So I do have Funimation just to have access to the show in a legit way, but I prefer to film from a download cause it streamlines a lot of problems that come with watching on an internet connection. I will see if I can find a different version

Absolutely, chainsaw man is definitely one of my favorite mangas! It’s able to mix the darkness, complex themes, and complete chaos in an amazing way. You are going to be in for the ride of your life as the rest of the story is a goddamn masterpiece. You should also read fire punch, it has the same author and it’s amazing in its own right.

one of the most frustrating things about this anime is the recap episodes. the true first episode of this season already does a great job recapping all of class 1a's quirks through that forest scene. i think they have to make 1 every season because of production obligations and its a shame. regardless, this season is probably my fave and that OP always gets me hyped. cant wait for future eps

Yes! Best Opening is here! One of my favourite anime openings period, I think. It just gets you so hyped. The song is an absolute banger and goes with the visuals so well. And it teases just enough without revealing too much. So good!

Hey! So i know you have a lot going on but if you are looking for another anime to watch at some point I would like to recommend one called RWBY (pronounced ruby) it has many themes and ideas that I think would be interesting for you to dive into, the action is great and while the first few seasons are a bit rough (it was made by a very small group) animation, visuals, and other aspects get better and better with each season. Also what is unique about this show is the music is HUGE in regards to plot, characters and passing info on. If I may suggest start with the character color trailers (these are concept/introduction trailers for the show) here is a link to all of them. While it is a bit weird that they gave us the fanservice immediately after making fun of Mineta for doing such a thing, it still gave us some golden moments. Such as the fact that Hagakure is just an invisible outline in the water and the moment exactly proceeding it where if you pause you can see Kota make the funniest face.

Wow! A double feature. Huge surprise and I enjoyed it a ton. A quick explanation to what Full Cowling is, is that he just means he's putting one for all throughout his entire body. He made it when he learned it at Gran Torino's place.

Hooray! My favorite OP! It's so funny to me how attached you've been to the beach training stuff. I also think it's interesting that you've taken so much time to support and wish the best for Mineta. Yeah I think around this point in the manga is when season 2 was blowing up to be massively popular, more eyes to the manga probably brought some pressure to clean up for mainstream.

"Full Cowling" is when Izuku uses OFA over his whole body simultaneously at 5%. It's what he learned when he trained with Gran Torino.
