Wow, I had no idea this existed. It's cute, but also kinda sad since we know that ten years down the line they're still dealing with Shin. But yeah, it really takes something special to fix a fight then bet against yourself. Like damn Bolin.

I'm a huge fan of when the show has little side stories done in different animation styles. Just works so perfectly

So happy I recommend this! Also I know it was hard to tell with this art style but the weights are made of rock with metal bars. It’s so that earthbenders can strength train. We see the same weights when Bolin saves Korra from being interrogated by tohza in season 1 episode 2. So sadly no that wasn’t Bolin metal bending.
